O Iesu hy' y Meddyg hael,
Sy'n ffyddlon Ffrynd
    troseddwyr gwael,
  F'Anwylyd innau yw:
Angerddol dân dy gariad di,
Gorchfygu wnaeth fy enaid i;
  Mi'th gara' tra fwy' byw.

P'odd galla' i ganmol Iesu gwiw,
I'm dwyn o'r dom
    mewn hedd â'm Duw;
  Rhyfeddol oedd ei ras;
Pan bo yn rhoi'm o'i gariad rhad,
Blaen-ffrwyth ei wae,
    ei chwys a'i waed,
  Mae'n well nâ'r gwin ei flas.

Dy olwg wîw, a'th wridog wedd,
Dy Berson hardd, dy nefol hedd,
  Orchfygodd f'enaid gwan:
Mwy nerth yn glir nag angau glâs,
Yw hyfryd rin dy nefol ras,
  Fe'm dwg o'r byd i'r làn.

O'r diwedd des i windy Duw,
Trwy rinwedd gwaed
    fy Iesu gwiw,
  I dawel hyfryd wlad:
Mae yno yw gael bottelau gwin,
Afalau rai o nefol rin,
  I'r cîeifion gael iachad.

O bold Jesus the generous Physician,
Who is a faithful Friend
    of poor transgressors,
  My own Beloved he is.
The ardent fire of thy love,
Overcome he did my soul;
  I will love thee while ever I live.

How can I extol worthy Jesus,
For taking me from the dung-heap
    in peace with my God;
  Wonderful was his grace;
When be giving me from his free love,
The first-fruits of his woe,
    his sweat and his blood,
  It is better-tasting than wine.

Thy worthy look, and thy ruddy countenance,
Thy beautiful Person, thy heavenly peace,
  They overcame my weak soul:
More strength clearly than utter death,
Is the delightful merit
    of thy heavenly grace,
  Takes me up from the world.

At last I came to the winery of God,
Through the merit of the blood
    of my worthy Jesus,
To be had there are bottles of wine,
Apples those of the heavenly virtue,
  For the sick to get healing.
