O Arglwydd rho im' deimlo

(Y Sul cyntaf gwedi'r Pasg)
O Arglwydd, rho im' deimlo
  Fy llygredd yn gwanhau,
A theimlo'r anian newydd,
  Bob dydd yn gwir gryfhau;
A theimlo fod fy nghalon,
  Yn dŷ i'r Ysbryd Glân,
Yn nerth, yn ddawn achubol,
  A gwres y nefol dân.

Rho imi Ysbryd Iesu,
  Ei sel dros dŷ ei Dad;
Ei daerni mawr mewn gweddi,
  A dilyn ôl ei draed:
A gwna fi'n wir addolwr,
  Rho grefydd yn ei grym,
Mewn ysbryd, barn, a bywyd,
  Rho burdeb didwyll im*.

[Mesur: 7676D]

(The first Sunday after Easter)
O Lord, grant me to feel
  My corruption weakening,
And feel the new nature,
  Every day truly strengthening;
And feel that my heart is,
  A house for the Holy Spirit,
In the strength, in the saving gift,
  And the hear of the heavenly fire.

Grant to me the Spirit of Jesus,
  His zeal for his Father's house;
His great earnestness in prayer,
  And follow his footprints:
A make me a true worshipper,
  Grant belief in his power,
In spirit, judgment, and life,
  Grant a sincere purity to me.
