Melys cofio haeddiant Iesu,
Ei diriondeb mawr a'i allu;
  Melys yw mewn byd o ofid
  Ei adnabod fel f'Anwylyd!

Melys cofio y cyfammod,
Ammod hedd y Sanctaidd Drindod:
  Am gyflawnder ei fendithion
  Gallaf ganu - "Wele ddigon!"

Melys iawn y canaf foliant
Pan f'wy'n profi blas maddeuant;
  Melys cael, trwy
      waed y cymod,
  Hedd i lenwi fy nghydwybod.

Sweet to remember the merit of Jesus,
His great tenderness and his power;
  Sweet it is in a world of grief
  To know him as my Lord!

Sweet to remember the covenant,
The offer of peace by the Sacred Trinity:
  For the fulness of his blessings
  I may sing - "Behold sufficient!"

Very sweetly I shall sing praise
When I experience the taste of forgiveness;
  Sweet to get, through
      the blood of the covenant,
  Peace to fill my conscience.
