Mawr wyt, ein Tad, tragwyddol Fod,
Seraphiaid glân sy'n seinio'th glod;
Cymysgwn ninau yn dy dŷ,
Ein cân â chân angelion fry.
O tyred Arglwydd Iôr i'n plith,
Gorchuddia'th Fynydd hwn â'th wlith;
Cysegra di y babell hon,
A'th bresenoldeb ger ein bron.
Boed gwir ogoniant fyth ar gân,
I'r Tad, a'r Mab,
a'r Ysbryd Glân;
I'r Tri yn Un Tragwyddol Dduw,
Cydroddwn fawl -
ein dyled yw.
Mr Richard Jones, Lerpwl.Hymnau a Salmau 1840 [Mesur: MH 8888] |
Great art thou, our Father, eternal Being,
Holy seraphim are sounding thy praise;
We also mix in thy house,
Our song with the song of angels above.
O come Sovereign Lord amongst us,
Cover this thy Mountain with thy dew;
Consecrate thou this tent,
With thy presence before us.
May true glory be forever in song,
To the Father, and the Son,
and the Holy Spirit;
To the Three in One Eternal God,
Let us render praise together -
our duty it is.
