Mae dyrfa fawr yn gwrthod
Yn awr ein Harglwydd cu,
Ac yn ei wel'd a'i dderbyn
Ychydig heddyw sy;
Ond daw ef mewn gogoniant
Anfeidrol yn y man,
Daw i'w 'nabod a'i goroni
Yn y man.
Fe ddaw'r dydd i gael y goron,
Mae'n dyfod yn y man;
Fe ddaw'n Harglwydd mewn gogoniant
A gallu yn y man;
O, mae'n dyfod ddydd coroni,
Mae'n dyfod n y man,
Dydd i'r Iesu gael y goron
Yn y man.
Er cymaint fydd gogoniant
Angelion nefoedd wèn,
Mwy dysglaer fydd y rhei'ny
A brynwyd ar y pren;
Ond O, gogoniant Iesu
A leinw dros bob glan,
Ar ddiwrnod y coroni
Yn y man.
O tyred, fore dysglaer,
O brysia ddedwydd ddydd,
Pan na bydd poen na phechod,
A phawb o'u rhwymau'n rhydd,
Yn canu buddugoliaeth
Yn sefyll yn ein rhan,
Ar ddiwrnod y coroni
Yn y man.

Tôn: Y Dydd Coroni / The Crowning Day gwelir: Mae'r ddaear heddyw'n gwrthod |
There is a great crowd rejecting
Now our dear Lord,
And seeing him and receiving him
A few today are;
But he will come in imeasurable
Glory in a little while,
He will come to be known and crowned
In a little while.
The day is coming to get the crown,
It is coming in a little while;
Our Lord is coming in glory
And power in a littel while;
O, the day of crowning is coming,
It is coming in a little while,
A day for Jesus to get the crown
In a little while.
Despite how great shall be the glory
Of the angels of bright heaven,
More radiant shall be those
Who were redeemed on the tree;
And O, the glory of Jesus
Which will flood across every shore,
On the day of crowning
In a little while.
O come, radiant morning,
O hurry, happy day,
When there will be neither pain nor sin,
And all free from their bonds,
Singing victory
Standing in our part,
On the day of the crowning
In a little while.

Our Lord is now rejected,
And by the world disowned,
By the many still neglected,
And by the few enthroned;
But soon He'll come in glory!
The hour is drawing nigh,
For the crowning day is coming
By-and-by.
O the crowning day is coming,
Is coming by-and-by,
When our Lord shall come in power
And glory from on high.
O the glorious sight will gladden
Each waiting, watchful eye,
In the crowning day that's coming
By-and-by.
The heavens shall glow with splendor,
But brighter far than they,
The saints shall shine in glory,
As Christ shall them array.
The beauty of the Saviour
Shall dazzle every eye,
In the crowning day that's coming
By-and-by.
Our pain shall then be over,
We'll sin and sigh no more,
Behind us all of sorrow,
And naught but joy before,
A joy in our Redeemer,
As we to Him are nigh,
In the crowning day that's coming
By-and-by.
Let all that look for, hasten
The coming joyful day,
By earnest consecration,
To walk the narrow way;
By gathering in the lost ones,
For whom our Lord did die,
For the crowning day that's coming
By-and-by.
