Mor beraidd yw miwsig

  Mor beraidd yw miwsig
  Y cyntaf Nadolig
Daeth Iesu i Fethlem dref;
  Yng nghwmni angylion,
  Bugeiliaid a doethion,
Awn minnau yn awr ato Ef.

  Ni welodd y ddaear
  Un baban mor hawddgar,
Mae tegwch y nef yn y byd;
  Rhyfeddod mewn preseb
  Yw gweled ei wyneb,
Rhyfeddod angylion o hyd.

  O'i flaen ar ein gliniau
  Ymgrymu wnawn ninnau;
Yr Iesu yw'r gorau a gaed;
  Mae'n derbyn y doethion
  A'u rhyfedd anrhegion:
Mae'n derbyn plant bach
    wrth ei draed.

  I gadw'r colledig
  A chodi'r syrthiedig
Y daeth ar Nadolig yn dlawd:
  Clodforwn ein Ceidwad,
  Canmolwn ei gariad -
Mae Brenin y nef inni'n frawd.

  How sweet is the music
  Of the first Christmas
When Jesus came to Bethlehem town;
  In the company of angels,
  Shepherds and magi,
Let us too go now to him.

  The earth did not see
  Any baby so beautiful,
The fairness of heaven is in the world;
  Wonder in a manger
  Is seeing his face,
The wonder of angels still.

  Before him on our knees
  Let us too bow down;
Jesus is the best that ever was;
  He is receiving the magi
  And their wonderful gifts:
He is receiving little children
    at his feet.

  To save the lost
  And raise the fallen
Poor he came at Christmas:
  Let us praise our Saviour,
  Let us extol his love -
The King of heaven is a brother to us.
