Mae'r Athraw'n ein galw
i'w ddilyn yn foreu -
O bawb ar y ddaear
Efe yw y goreu;
Ei ffyrdd sy'n hyfrydwch
i bawb sy'n eu teithio,
A'i eiriau yn felus
i bawb sydd yn gweithio.
Mae'r Athraw'n ei galw
i gadw rhag pechu;
Mae'n addaw Ei gymorth
i bawb fo'n ymdrechu:
Mae'n gwybod am danam,
mae drosom yn eiriol
A gwrendy'n y nefoedd
ar gri'r edifeiriol.
Mae'r Athraw'n ein galw:
pwy iddo sy'n plygu?
Wrth blygu i'r Iesu
cawn râs i orchfygu:
Bu Yntau yn ufudd
i'w Dad a'i orchmynion, -
Am hynny mae heddyw
yn Frenin i ddynion!
Mae'r Athraw'n ein galw
i ffordd gostyngeiddrwydd,
I fyw i ddaioni,
i garu sancteiddrwydd;
I Athraw mor dirion,
O! rhown ein calonnau -
Rhyw foreu cawn dderbyn
o'i law ein coronau.

Tôn [12.12.12.12]: Mae'r Athraw'n Ein Galw |
The Teacher is calling us
to follow him in the morning -
Of all on the earth
He is the best;
His ways are delightful
for all who travel them,
And his words sweet
to all who are working.
The Teacher is calling us
to keep from sinning;
He promises us his help
for all who may be struggling:
He knows about us,
for us he is interceding
And listens in heaven
to the cry of the repentant.
The Teacher is calling us:
who to him is bowing?
On bowing to Jesus
we get grace to overcome:
He himself was obedient
to his Father and his commands, -
Therefore he is today
a King to men!
The Teacher is calling us
to the way of submission,
To live for goodness,
to love holiness;
To a Teacher so tender,
O let us give our hearts -
Some morning we shall receive
from his hand our crowns.
