Mae Esther mewn trallod
ryw ddiwrnod hi ddaw
I ddweyd, bob yn dipyn,
i'r Brenin ei braw;
Hi egyr ei mynwes
yn gynnes i'w Gŵr,
Gan ddeisyf ei bywyd,
iaith hyfryd i'w Thwr.
Pan draetho'r Frenhines
ei neges yn iawn,
Ei thrallod a'i chystudd
i'w Llywydd yn llawn;
Fe ddadleu ei Phrïod
gwych hynod ei chŵyn,
Gan ddisgyn o bwrpas,
i'w deyrnas i'w dwyn.

Esther is in trouble
some day she comes
To tell, little by little,
to the King her fear;
She opens her bosom
warmly to her Husband,
While petitioning for her life,
with delightful language to her Tower.
When the Queen expounds
her message aright,
Her trouble and his affliction
to her Governor fully;
Her Spouse argues
notably brilliant her complaint,
While descending from purpose,
to his kingdom to bring her.
