Jerusalem fy nghartref hoff

(Y Jerusalem Nefol)
Jerusalem fy nghartref hoff!
  O na bawn yna'n byw!
O na chawn dd'od i'r hyfryd fan
  I drigo gyd â'm Duw!

Dy furiau ynt o feini teg,
  A gemau gwerthfawr oll;
Dy byrth o berlau disglaer pur,
  Digymhar a digoll.

Mor fendigedig yw y lle!
  Anhebyg i'n byd ni:
Ei theml fawr yw Duw a'r Oen
  A'i gwiw ogoniant hi.

Oddeutu glànau'r afon lwys
  Mae pren y bywyd pur,
A'i gangau ffrwthlon lledu wnant
  Dros holl derfynau'r tir.

Peroriaeth y Seraffiaid sy'n
  Cydgordio gy â llef
Y gwaredigion yn gyttun, -
  Yn Haleliwia gref.

Y beraidd gân a chwydda'n mlaen
  Dros y dragwyddol oes,
A'r testyn penaf fydd o hyd,
Y Gŵr fu ar y groes.

Jerusalem fy nghartref hoff!
  O na bawn yna'n byw,
O na chawn dd'od i'r hyfryd fan
  I drigo gyd â'm Duw!

(The Heavenly Jerusalem)
Jerusalem my dear home!
O that I might be there living!
O that I could come to the delightful place
  To dwell with my God!

Thy walls are of fine stones,
  And all precious gems;
Thy gates of pure radiant pearls,
  Incomparable and unfailing.

How blessed is the place!
  Unmatched in our world:
Its great temple is God and the Lamb
  And its worthy glory.

About the banks of its pleasant river
Is the tree of pure life,
And its fruitful branches spread
Over all the borders of the land.

The sweet utterance of the seraphim
  Harmonize with the cry
Of the delivered in agreement, -
  In a strong Hallelujah.

The sweet song swells onward
  Over the eternal age,
And the chief subject shall always be
The Man who was on the cross.

Jerusalem my dear home!
O that I might be there living,
O that I could come to the delightful place
  To dwell with my God!
