Iesu wele ni yn dyfod
  Fel yr ydym, atat Ti,
Yn flinderog ac yn llwythog,
  Clyw, O! clyw, o'th ras, ein cri:
    'N ôl d'addewid
  Dyro inni esmwythâd.

Wrth dy draed dymunem aros,
  Dy ddisgyblion garem fod;
Derbyn addysg dy wirionedd,
  Byw'n wastadol er dy glod:
    'N ôl d'addewid
  Dyro inni olau'r nef.

Jesus, see us coming
  As we are, to thee,
Weary and burdened,
  Hear, O hear, in thy grace, our cry!
    According to thy promise
  Grant us relief.

By thy feet we would wish to stay,
  Thy disciples we would love to be;
To receive the teaching of thy truth,
  To live constantly for thy praise:
    According to thy promise
  Grant to us the light of heaven.
