Iesu'n Ceidwad gwena arnom

Iesu'n Ceidwad, gwena arnom,
  Ac yn awr bendithia ni;
Os ymadael raid ā'n gilydd,
  Nid oes raid dy adael Di.

Iesu, cadw Di'r gwefusau
  Fu i Ti yn canu cān
Rhag un amser arfer geiriau
  Fo'n gofidio d'Ysbryd Glān.

Er na fedrwn gadw'r Beibl
  Yn ein dwylaw ar bob pryd,
Boed ei addysg a'i gynghorion
  Yn ein calon ni o hyd.

Jesus our Saviour, smile upon us,
  And now bless us;
If we must leave one another,
  There is no need to leave thee.

Jesus, keep thou the lips
  That to thee were singing a song
From once using words
  That would grieve thy Holy Spirit.

Although we cannot keep the Bible
  In our hands on every occasion,
May its teaching and its counsels be
  In our heart always.
