Hyn yw 'mhleser, hyn yw f'ymffrost,
  Hyn yw 'nghysur yn y byd -
'Mod i'n caru'r addfwyn Iesu;
  Dyna'm meddiant oll i gyd:
    Mwy yw 'nhrysor
  Nag a fedd y byd o'i fron.

Ac ni allaf fyth fynegu
  Pe anturiwn, tra fawn byw,
Pa mor hyfryd, pa mor felus,
  Pa mor gryf, Ei gariad yw:
    Fflam ddiderfyn
  Ddaeth o ganol
      nef i lawr.

Yn y bywyd byth a bery,
  Câf fi ddwfn chwilio i maes
Faith ddyfnderoedd cariad dwyfol,
  A changhenau nefol râs;
    Eangir f'enaid
  I wel'd dadguddiadau'r nef.

Derfydd awyr, derfydd daear,
 Derfydd grëwyd
     îs y ne',
Derfydd haul, a sêr, a lleuad,
  Daw tywyllwch yn eu lle;
    Fyth ni dderfydd
  Canu iachawdwriaeth grâs,

Bydd cerubiaid, a seraphiaid,
  Ac angylion nef yn un,
Yn cymmysgu Haleluwia,
  A Hosanna bur â dyn;
    Anthem cariad
  Fydd yr anthem
      tra f'o nef.

This is my pleasure, this is my boast,
  This is my comfort in the world -
That I am loving the gentle Jesus;
  That is all my possession altogether:
    Greater is my treasure
  Than the world possesses completely.

And I cannot ever express
  If I should venture, while ever I lived,
How delightful, how sweet,
  How strong, is His love:
    An unending flame
  That came from the centre
      of heaven to earth.

In the life forever to endure,
  I shall get deeply to search out
The extent of the depths of divine love,
  And the strains of heaveny grace;
    My soul is to be broadened
  To see the revelations of heaven.

Sky shall vanish, earth shall vanish,
  What was created under
      heaven shall vanish,
Sun shall vanish, and stars, and moon,
  Darkness shall come in their place;
    Never shall vanish
  Singing the salvation of grace.

Cherubim and seraphim shall be
  With the angels of heaven as one,
Mixing Hallelujah,
  And a pure Hosanna with man;
    The anthem of love
  Shall be the anthem
      while ever there be heaven.
