Henffych forau hyfryd iawn

(Golwg yr Eglwys ar y Dydd yn neshau)
Henffych forau hyfryd iawn,
Os rhaid wylo dros brydnhawn,
  Hi ddaw yn gyflawn ddydd;
    Pan fo gwybodaeth
    O'r iachawdwriaeth
  Uwch pob camsyniaeth yma sydd.

Pan fo moliant Iesu mawr,
Dros dalaethau daiar lawr,
  Mor werthfawr fydd y fraint,
    Eu blaenor bywiol,
    Mewn natur ddynol,
  Fydd yn bersonol gyda'r saint.

Bwrir pob
      traddodiad cas,
Sy'n gorchuddio Crist a'i ras,
  O'i santaidd deyrnas ef,
    Daw'r byd presenol,
    Yn lle trigianol,
  I'w foli'n unol fel y nef.

Tôn [776.558]: Penrhyn

(The Sight of the Church on the Day approaching)
Hail very lovely morning,
If there is need to weep for an afternoon,
  It will become full day;
    When there be knowledge
    Of the salvation
Above every misconception there is here.

When there be the praise of great Jesus,
Across the tribes of earth below,
How precious will be the privilege,
    Their lively forerunner,
    In human nature,
Will be personally with the saints.

To be cast away is every
      detestable tradition,
Which is hiding Christ and his grace,
  From his holy kingdom,
    The present world shall become
    A dwelling-place,
To praise him unitedly like heaven.
tr. 2017 Richard B Gillion
