Hyderu 'r wy' ac ofni bob yn ail

(Diogelwch yn Nghrist)
Hyderu 'r wy',
    ac ofni bob yn ail,
Dymuno bod y'nghysgod
    Adda'r ail;
  Diogel yw y rhai
      sydd yn ei gôl,
  Hen pyrth y fall
      ni all eu dwyn yn ol.

'R oedd Tri yn Un,
    ac hefyd Un yn Dri,
Yn edrych draw
    ar angau Calfari;
  Hen ddyfais fawr
      cyn llunio llawr na llỳn,
  I godi dyn,
      a'u gànu'n gwbl wỳn.

Boed ofn Duw
    yn llanw'r ddaear faith,
Fel delo pawb o'r bron
    i newid iaith;
  Doed mawrion byd,
      a'r werin gyda hwy,
  I garu'r Gwr
      ddyoddefodd farwol glwy'.

[Mesur: 10.10.10.10]

(Safety in Christ)
Being confident I am,
    and fearing alternately,
I wish to be in the shade
    of the second Adam;
  Safe are those
      who are in his bosom,
  The old gates of hell
      cannot snatch them back.

The Three as One, and
    also One as Three, were
Looking yonder
    upon the death of Calvary;
  The old great scheme
      before the design of ground or lake,
  To raise man,
      and bleach them wholly white.

Let the fear of God be
    flooding the vast earth,
When all completely come
    to change a language;
  Let the great of the world come,
      and the folk with them,
  To love the Man
      who suffered a mortal wound.
tr. 2025 Richard B Gillion
