  Hoeliwyd yr Aberth, 
Iesu'r addfwynaf oedd fud; 
  'Rhwn sy'n taenu'r nef fel llen 
  Ar y groes ogwyddai ' ben 
I wneyd cymmod
    dros bechod y byd. 

  Dacw fy Meichiau!
Difai yw offrwm ein Pen;
  Arno ef y rhoed fy nrwg,
  Ac aeth dan y Dwyfol wg
Dug fy nghosp yn
    ei gorff ar y pren.

  A welsoch chwi Ef?
  Dacw fy Meichiau

  The Sacrifice was nailed,
Jesus the gentlest was mute;
  He who spreads heaven like a sheet
  On the cross was bowing his head
To make reconciliation
    for the sin of the world.

  Behold my Surety!
Faultless is the offering of our Head;
  Upon him was put my evil,
  And he went under the divine frown
He bore my penalty in
    his body on the tree.
