Hyfryd eiriau'r Iesu

(Geiriau'r Iesu)
Hyfryd eiriau'r Iesu,
  Bywyd ynddynt sydd,
Digon byth i'n harwain
  I dragwyddol ddydd:
Maent o hyd yn newydd,
  Maent yn llawn o'r nef;
Sicrach na'r mynyddoedd
  Yw ei eiriau ef.

Newid mae gwybodaeth
  A dysgeidiaeth dyn;
Aros mae Efengyl
  Iesu byth yr un;
Athro ac Arweinydd
  Yw efe 'mhob oes;
A thra pery'r ddaear
  Pery golau'r groes.

Wrth in wrando'r Iesu,
  Haws adnabod Duw;
Ac wrth gredu ynddo
  Mae'n felysach byw.
Mae ei wenau tirion
  Yn goleuo'r bedd;
Ac yn ei wirionedd
  Mae tragwyddol hedd.
Wrth in wrando Iesu :: Pan yn gwrando
Haws adnabod Duw :: Hawddach nabod Duw

(The Words of Jesus)
The delightful words of Jesus,
  Life is in them,
Sufficient forever to guide us
  To eternal day:
They are always new,
  They are full of heaven;
Surer than the mountains
  Are his words.

Changing is the knowledge
  And teaching of man;
The gospel of Jesus
  Stays forever the same;
Teacher and Guide
  Is he in every age;
And while the earth endures
  The light of the cross will endure.

As we listen to Jesus,
  It is easier to recognize God;
And by believing in him
  It is sweeter to live.
His tender smiles are
  Lighting up the grave;
And in his truth
  There is eternal peace.
As we listen to :: When we listen to
easier to recognize :: easier to know
