Gorseddu mae Anwylfab Mair

(Mawredd Duw: Gwynfyd y Nef &c.)
Gorseddu mae Anwylfab Mair,
  Goruwch y disglair gwmmwl;
Fe wêl o'r uwch-wyprenol fro
  Ddirgelaidd dro fy meddwl.

Mae uwch y rhôd lawenydd llòn,
  Ym mysg cantorion nefol;
Gwiw seinia'r gân gysona' i gyd
  Drwy furiau'r Byd anfarwol!

'Does neb yn achwyn yno'n drist,
  Ond moliant Crist bendigaid
Yw mwyniant llu'r Angylion maith;
  A thôn pob perffaith enaid.

Cyd-ganu'n llafar faith mae'r llu,
  Ogoniant Iesu hawddgar;
Mwynhant gymdeithas bur yr OEN:
  A gwyl, heb boen na galar!

(The Greatness of God: The Blessedness of Heaven etc.)
Enthroned is the beloved Son of Mary,
  Higher than the shining cloud;
He sees from the sky-high region
  The secret turning of my thoughts.

There is above the sky a merry gladness,
  Amongst the heavenly singers;
Worthily they all sound the most constant song
  Through the ramparts of the immortal World!

There is no-one complaining there sadly,
  But the praise of blessed Christ
Is the enjoyment of the vast host of Angels;
  And the tune of every perfect soul.

Chorussing vastly vocally is the host,
  The glory of beautiful Jesus;
They enjoy the pure fellowship of the LAMB:
  And feast, without pain or mourning!
