Gwrandewch y nefoedd gyhoedd gu,
  Mae'r Iesu a ddewisaf,
Yn Dduw, a Meichiau, yn mbob man,
  Rhagora' rhan,
      a garaf.

Mi rof fy hun yn un tan fod
  Praidd isod puraidd Iesu,
At wasanaeth helaeth hawdd,
  A'i nawdd i'w ogoneddu.

Pur fedydd tān yr Yspryd Glān
  O plana yn anian ynof:
Er myn'd trwy g'ledi
    mawr a'r glyn,
  Na thyner hyn o honof.

Hear, ye dear, public heavens,
  It is Jesus that I shall choose,
As God, as Surety, in every place,
  The most excellent portion,
      whom I shall love.

I shall give myself likewise while being
  Of the flock below of undefiled Jesus,
To the broad, easy service
  And his protection to glorify him.

The pure baptism of the Holy Spirit's fire
  O plant in the nature within me:
For going through great
    hardship and the vale,
  That shall not be taken from me.
