Gwerthfawr yw'r Iesu hawddgar pur

(Hyder)
Gwerthfawr yw'r Iesu hawddgar, pur,
  I bawb o'r gwir ffyddloniaid;
Ei gariad rhad mor beraidd yw
  I'r enaid byw bendigaid.

Cyfiawnder gwiw sydd ganddo Ef,
  A'i fraich yn gref wastadol;
Fe ladd dy holl elynion cas
  A'i ras fe'th
      wna'n orchfygol.

O enaid gwan, tyr'd yn dy flaen, -
  Gwel anian dy Frawd nefol;
Cei ganddo gymhorth i barhau,
  Cei ei fwynhau'n dragwyddol.

Glŷn wrth yr Iesu yn ddigėl,
  Ei gariad gwel yn helaeth;
Dros d' enaid di yn dyodde' bu
  I brynu iachawdwriaeth.

(Confidence)
Precious is beautiful, pure Jesus,
  To all of the true faithful;
His free love so sweet it is
  To the blessed living soul.

Worthy righteousness is in him,
  And his arm constantly strong;
It will slay all thy detestable enemies
  And his grace he will
      make thee victorious.

O weak soul, come on, -
  See the nature of thy heavenly Brother;
Thou shalt get from him help to endure,
  Thou shalt get to enjoy him eternally.

Stick to Jesus without fail,
  His love see as abundant;
For thy soul he did suffer
  To purchase salvation.
