Gwyn fyd y rhai sy'n cael y fraint,
I dreulio'u bywyd gyda'r saint;
Yn ngwaith eu Duw bob dydd а nos,
Yn cario'r cledd,
a chod́'r gro's.
Cânt gwmni Duw
wrth fyn'd yn mla'n,
I'w nerthu yn
y dwfr а'r tân;
Bydd ef yn haul a tharian gref,
Wrth deithio'r
llwybr cul i'r nef.
Yn ymchwydd yr Iorddonen gref,
Eu pen i'r lan fe'u cynnal ef;
Ас уп ei law fe'u dwg i'r lan,
I dre Caersalem yn у man.
Er crwydro mewn anialwch maith,
А dyfnion byllau lawer gwaith;
Ymddiried wnaf yn nerth fy NUW,
l gadw'm henaid gwan yn fyw.
Caniadau Bethel (Cas. Evan Edwards) 1840
[Mesur: MH 8888] |
Blessed are those who get the privilege,
Of spending their life with the saints;
In their God's work every day and night,
Carrying the sword,
and taking up the cross.
They shall have God's company
as they go on,
To strengthen them in
the water and the fire;
He will be a sun and strong shield,
While travelling the
narrow path to heaven.
In the swelling of the strong Jordan,
Their head he will support;
And in his hand he will bring them up,
To the city of Jerusalem in a while.
Although wandering in a vast desert,
And deep pools many a time;
Trust I shall in the strength of my God,
To keep my weak soul alive.
