Gras yw'r ffon ddiffael a'm cynal,
  Yn yr anial, ddydd a nos;
Gras yw testyn hen anthemau,
  Pêr ganiadau angau loes;
Gras sy'n codi o'r tomenydd;
  Gras yw crefydd oll i gyd;
Gras ar gyfrif
    Iawn Calfaria,
  Heddyw'n maddeu beiau'r byd.

Grace is the unfailing staff to support me,
  In the desert, day and night;
Grace is the theme of old anthems,
  The sweet songs of the throes of death;
'Tis grace that raises from the heaps,
  Grace is belief altogether;
Grace on the account of
    the atonement of Calvary,
  Today forgiving the faults of the world.
