Glywaist ti am Faban gwyn
    Bethlem draw?
Glywaist ti am doethion syn
   Yn eu braw?
Glywaist ti am seren wen
Draw yn symud yn y nen,
A'r bugeiliaid gŵyl eu pen?
    Dwed heb daw.

Ac os clywaist ar dy rawd,
    Cofia ddweud,
Am y Crist sydd i ti'n Frawd,
    Cofia ddweud:
Yn y preseb by Efe,
Mewn cadachau, yn dy le,
Heddiw'n Frenin daer a ne:
    Cofia ddweud.

Daeth i wlad y cystudd mawr
    Er dy fwyn,
Gwnaeth anialwch blin y llawr
    Yn llawn swyn:
Bu dan wawd ar Galfari
Er mwyn rhoddi nef iti;
Tyred ato gyda'th gri;
    Gwendy gwyn.

Have you heard about the blessed Baby
    Of yonder Bethlehem?
Have you heard about surprised wise men
    In their dread?
Have you heard about bright stars
Yonder moving in the sky,
And the shepherds themselves keeping watch?

He Came to the land of the great tribulation
