Fy Nuw, ti'm chwiliaist yn mhob rhan,
Mae'th lygaid arnaf yn mhob man;
  A'th dadol nawdd o'm cylch y sydd,
  Yn nghwysg y nos,
      yn effro'r dydd.

My God, thou hast sought me in every part,
Thy eyes are upon me in every place;
  And thy fatherly protection around me is,
  In the sleep of night,
      in the awakening of day.
