Fy eniad cred yn unig cred

Fy eniad crêd, yn unig crêd
  Yn Iesu mawr ei hun;
Mae pob cyflawnder ynddo ef,
  Er maint yw eisiau dyn.

Mae'n rhoi yn hael
    i rai heb ddim, 
  'Rwy'n un o'r cyfryw rai;
Ymnertha f'enaid yn y gras
  Sydd ganddo yn parhau.

Er ofni marw trwy fy oes,
  Mi bwysaf ar ei air;
Yr hwn a gredo ynddo ef,
  Er marw, fe'i bywheir.

My soul, believe, only believe
  In great Jesus himself!
There is every fulness in him,
  Despite the greatness of man's need.

He gives generously
    to those without anything,
  I am one such as they;
Be strong, my soul, in the grace
  Which endures in him.

Though fearing death throughout my life,
  I will lean on his word;
Whoever believes in him,
  Though he die he shall be revived.
