Golygiad gostyngedig Crist ar Blant bychain)
Fel arwydd i'w ddysgyblion cu,
Yr Iesu a ddangosodd,
Am ddull a deiliaid teyrnas ne',
I'r eiddo fe arwyddodd.
"Boed i blant bychain ataf dd'od,
(Medd ef) heb ddanod iddynt;
I'r cyfryw rai, gwirionedd yw,
Fod teyrnas Dduw yn eiddynt."
Bendithiodd ef y rhai'n yn rhwydd,
Mewn dull yn arwyddedig,
O'r fendith nefol, bur heb os,
Fydd i'r rhai gostyngedig.
Ond ni fedyddiodd mo'nynt chwaith,
Fe wnaeth ei waith yn addas;
O ran fod eisiau cyffes ffydd,
Yn neiliaid rhydd ei deyrnas.
Ond d'weyd, oddieithr newid dyn,
A'i droi fel plentyn bychan,
Nid â i'r deyrnas
sydd i'r saint,
Na chael o'i gwiwfraint gyfran.
Pwy bynag a'i dyrchafo'i hun,
Y cyfryw un ostyngir;
A'r hwn fo isel yn ei fryd,
Er gwawd y byd
a godir.

The humble View of Christ of little Children)
As a sign to his dear disciples,
Jesus showed,
For a means which would signify the tenants
Of the kingdom of heaven as his own.
"Let the little children come to me,
(Said he) without denying them;
To such as these, truth it is,
That the kingdom of God is theirs."
He blessed those freely,
In a manner signifying
That the heavely blessing, purely certainly,
Shall be for the humble ones.
But he did not baptize any of them either,
He did his work appropriately;
Since there must be a confession of faith,
In the free tenants of his kingdom.
But say, Unless a man change,
And turn like a little child,
He shall not go to the kingdom
which is for the saints,
Nor get of his worthy privilege a share.
Whoever exalts himself,
Such a one is to be humbled;
And whoever is lowly in his mind,
Despite the scorn of the world
is to be raised.
