Ffordd â'i henw yn Rhyfeddol

(Ffordd newydd a bywiol)
Ffordd â'i henw yn "Rhyfeddol"
  Ydyw'r ffordd ordeiniodd Duw;
Ffordd dragwyddol, etto newydd;
  Ffordd i godi'r marw yn fyw:
Ffordd yn ennill ei holl deithwyr
  I fyned tua'r nefoedd wen;
Ffordd gyssegrwyd - âf ar hid-ddi
  I'r orphwysfa, draw i'r llwn.

Ffordd mae llawer heb ei chanfod,
  Er ei bod fel hanner dydd;
Mae'n guddiedig, ansathredig,
  I bawb ond perchenogion ffydd:
Ffordd i gyfiawnhau'r annuwiol,
  I gael iddo fythol fyw,
Ffordd gyfreithlawn i droseddwr
  I gael hedd a ffafor Duw.

Ffordd amlygwyd wrth ei hangen,
  Yn yr addawedig Had;
Ffordd a luniwyd cyn bod amser,
  Yn ol arfaeth fawr y Tad;
Ffordd a drefnwyd mewn cyfammod,
  Yn ol cynghor Tri yn Un;
Ffordd i'r hon mae Duw yn foddlawn,
  Ffordd sy'n lloni calon dyn.

gwelir: Ffordd a drefnwyd cyn bod amser

(A new and living Way)
A way whose name is Wonderful
  Is the way that God ordained;
An eternal way, yet new;
  A way to raise the dead alive:
A way to all its travellers
  To go towards bright heaven;
A consecrated way - I shall go along it
  To the resting-place, beyond the curtain.

A way that many do not find,
  Although it be like midday;
It is hidden, untrodden,
  To all but the possessors of faith:
A way to justify the ungodly,
  For him to get eternally to live,
A legal way for the transgressor
  To get the peace and favour of God.

A way made evident at need,
  In the promised Seed;
A way planned before time was,
  According to the Father's great purpose;
A way that was arranged in a covenant,
  According to the counsel of Three in One;
A way to this, with which God is satisfied,
  A way that cheers the heart of man.
tr. 2025 Richard B Gillion
