Fe welwyd Craig mewn dalfa
  Gan wyr y gwayw-ffyn;
Fe welwyd Craig yn hongian
  Ar ben Calfaria fryn.
Rhoed Craig, mewn craig i orwedd
  Hyd fore'r trydydd dydd;
Er gwaetha'r maen a'r milwyr,
  Daeth Craig o'r graig yn rhydd.

A Rock was seen in custody
  By the men of the spear;
A Rock was seen hanging
  On the summit of Calvary hill.
A Rock was put, in a rock to lie
  Until the morning of the third day;
Despite the stone and the soldiers,
  A Rock came from the rock free.

Come and see! A Rock appears,
Bound by men with swords and spears:
  Come and see! Alone and still
  Hangs a Rock upon the hill:

Till three days their course have made:
