Fe ga'dd y gyfraith berffaith iawn
Yn angau Iesu un pryd nawn;
  Y mae cyfiawnder pur y nef
  Yn foddlon yn ei aberth ef.

Os gofyn deddf berffeithrwydd im',
  A minau'r wael heb feddu dim;
Dangosaf iddi'r Hwn a roes,
  Ei hunan drosof ar y groes.

Trwy angeu Crist ar Galfari,
  Daeth byd llon, a hedd i mi;
O'i dristwcg dwys a'i loesion ef
  Y tardd llawenydd pena'r nef.

Mae adgyfodiad Crist o'r bedd
  Yn dangos fod y nef mewn hedd;
Gollyngai'r Tad y Meichiau'n rhydd
  O rwymau angau'r trydydd dydd.

The law got perfect satisfaction
In the death of Jesus one afternoon;
  The pure righteousness of heaven
  Satisfied in his sacrifice.

If the law demands perfection of me,
  And I the poor one possessing nothing;
I shall show to it Him who gave
  Himself for me on the cross.

Through the death of Christ on Calvary,
  Came a cheerful world, and peace to me;
From his intense sadness and his pangs
  Spring forth the chief joy of heaven.

The resurrection of Christ from the grave
  Shows that heaven is at peace;
The Father released the Surety freely
  From the bonds of death on the third day.
