Fe ddaw
Ar y cymylau maes o law,
I rai er dychryn mawr a braw,
Ym mhell uwchlaw dychymmyg dyn;
Ac yna barna'r ddaiar faith
Yn ol y gwaith a wnaeth pob un.
Heb gêl,
Pob llygad yno'n lân a'i gwel;
Yn ol cyfiawnder pur y dêl;
Fe rydd ei sel
ar blant ei Dad -
"O deuwch, fendigedig rai;
Rhow'd, yn ddi-lai, iwch
deyrnas rad -
"Cyn byd
Ammodwyd i chwi'n eithaf drud,
Yn awr meddiennwch hi yng nghyd -
'Dyw hon i gyd
ond gwerth fy ngwaed:
Cewch wel'd y gogoneddus fri
Ennillais i ar law fy Nhad."
"Fydd mwy
Ddim diwedd i'w llawenydd hwy -
Eu temtasiynau aethant trwy:
Gwaed marwol glwy'
fydd gwraidd eu gwledd.
Tragwyddol gân,
heb dewi son,
I Dduw a'r Oen am ddwyfol hedd.
William Williams 1717-91
Fe ddaw

Fe bair
I'r nef wahanu wrth ei air,
Ac uffern fawr yn crynu cair
O flaen yr Hwn fu ar y groes;
Anfeidrol barch fydd yn y man,
I'r Hwn fu tan angeuol loes.
Fe gryn
Gan arswyd, bob annuwiol ddyn,
Wrth edrych heddyw ar ei lun,
A'i fyddin ddysglaer gadarn gref:
Pe ysa'r pryf 'r annuwiol ryw
Wrth wel'd mai Duw mawr ydyw Ef.
Ond dydd
Yw hwn na welir neb yn brudd
O'r rhai a roddodd IESU'n rhydd;
Eu g'lynion fydd wedi cael clwy -
Holl uffern fawr a phechod cas -
Gan Ddwyfol râs, na chodant mwy.
Hymnau ... yr Eglwys 1883
Tonau [288888]: |
He will come
On the clouds presently,
For those despite great terror and dread,
Far above the imagination of man;
And then judge the vast earth
According to the work every one has done.
Without concealment,
Every eye there holy shall see him;
After pure righteousness comes;
He will give his seal
on his Father's children -
"O come, blessed ones;
Given to you will be, without fail,
a gracious kingdom -
"Before the world
It was pledged to you extremely expensively,
Now possess ye it altogether -
All this is nothing
but the worth of my blood:
Ye will get to see the glorious renown
I won at the hand of my God."
"There will no
More end to their joy -
Their temptations went through:
The blood of a mortal wound
will be the root their feast.
An eternal song,
without the sound becoming silent,
To god and the Lamb for divine peace.
He will come
On the clouds, presently,
To those, despite great terror and dread,
Far above the imagination of man;
And then judge the vast earth
According to the work every one has done.
He will cause
Heaven to separate at his word,
And great hell to be found trembling
Before Him who was on the cross;
Immeasurable reverence shall be soon,
To Him who was under the throes of death.
Tremble
With fear, shall every ungodly man,
While looking today on his image,
And his shining, firm, strong army:
The worm will devour the ungodly sort
While seeing that a great God is He.
But a day
Is that, not to be seen as sorrowful
By those whom JESUS set free;
Their enemies shall have got wounded -
All of great hell and detestable sin -
By Divine grace, they shall rise no more.
