Er dy fod yn uchder nefoedd,
Uwch cyrhaeddiad meddwl dyn,
Etto mae'th greaduriaid lleiaf
Yn dy olwg bob yr un;
Nid oes meddwl
Ond sy'n oleu o dy flaen.
Ti yw 'Nhad, a thi yw 'Mhriod,
Ti yw'm Harglwydd, ti yw'm Duw,
F'unig Dŵr, a'm hunig Noddfa,
Wyt i farw neu i fyw:
Cymmer f'enaid,
Dan dy aden tua'r nef.
Tro 'ngelynion yn eu gwrthol,
A phalmanta'r ffordd i'r wlad,
Tra fwy'n yfed addewidion
Pur yr iachwdwriaeth rad;
Fel y gallwyf
O fy nghystudd ymgryfhau.
Minnau ymddigrifaf ynot,
A chanmolaf fyth dy ras,
Tra fo'r anadl bur yn para,
Yntau wedi'r êl i maes:
Tragwyddoldeb
Ni chaiff ddiwedd ar fy nghân.

Eto'th greaduriaid lleiaf
Sy'n Dy olwg bob yr un;
Nid oes meddwl
Nad yw'n oleu o Dy flaen.
Duw anfeidrol yw Dy enw,
Llanw'r nefoedd, llanw'r llawr;
Ac mae'th lwybrau anweledig
Yn nyfnderoedd moroedd mawr:
O! feddyliau,
Is nag uffern, uwch na'r nef!
Pan edrychaf ar Dy fawredd,
Gweld D'ogoniant maith a'th ras
Mae fy nghalon gan lawenydd
Hyfryd, pur, yn tori maes:
Cymmer f'enaid,
Dan Dy aden tua'r nef.

Tonau [878747]:
gwelir: |
Although thou art in the height of heaven,
Higher than the reach of the thought of man,
Still the least creature is
In thy sight every one;
There is no thought
But which is light before thee.
Thou art my Father, and thou art my Own,
Thou art my Lord, thou art my God,
My only Tower, and my only Refuge,
Art thou, for dying or for living;
Take my soul,
Under thy wing towards heaven.
Turn my enemies in their opposition,
And pave the way to the land,
While I drink the pure
Promises of free salvation;
That I be able
From my affliction to strenghthen myself.
As for me, I shall take delight in thee,
And I shall praise forever thy grace,
While ever the pure breath endures,
Then after it should go out:
Eternity
Shall never get an end to my song.

Although thou art in the height of heaven,
Above the reach of the thought of man,
Still thy least creatures
Are in Thy sight every one;
There is no thought
That is not light before Thee.
Infinite God is Thy name,
Filling the heavens, filling the earth;
And thy invisible paths are
In the depths of the great seas:
O thoughts,
Lower than hell, higher than heaven!
When I look on Thy greatness,
To see Thy vast glory and thy grace
My heart with is joy
Delightful, pure, breaking out:
Take my soul,
Under Thy wing towards heaven.
