Ein dyled yw dyrchafu clod
Y grasol Fod anfeidrol;
Am sylwi ar bechadur gwael
Mae'n haeddu cael ei ganmol.
Mae'n Esgob mwyn, mae'n Fugail da,
Diwallu wna eneidiau;
I geisio'r goll oedd lesg a chaeth,
I'r ddaear daeth yn ddiau.
Bu fyw a marw er ein mwyn,
Gwnaeth ffordd i'n dwyn yn rasol;
Er grym gofidiau
daear lawr
I'r lle mae'n awr yn eiriol.

Ein dyled yw dyrchafu clod
Y grasol Fôd anfeidrol;
Am sylwi ar deueiniaid gwael,
Mae'n haeddu cael ei ganmol.
O Arglwydd, aed dy enw mawr
Uwch nef a llawr mewn moliant;
Cyhoedded pawb drwy'r byd,
'r un wedd,
Dy fawedd, a'th ogoniant.
Rho imi'th wel'd, O Frenin hedd,
Fry yn dy ryfedd degwch,
A chanu byth, ar beraidd dant,
Ogoniant dy hawddgarwch.

Tonau [MS 8787]:
gwelir: |
Our duty is to raise the acclaim
Of the gracious, infinite Being;
For regarding a base sinner
He is deserving to get lauded.
He is a gentle Bishop, he is a good Shepherd,
Satisfy he will souls;
To seek the lost who were faint and captive,
To the earth he came doubtless.
He lived and died for our sake,
He made a way to lead us graciously;
Despite the force of the griefs
of the earth below
To the place where he is now interceding.

Our duty is to raise the acclaim
Of the gracious, infinite Being;
For regarding base wretches,
He is deserving to get lauded.
O Lord, let thy great name go
Above heaven and earth in praise;
Let all publish throughout the word,
in the same manner,
Thy majesty, and thy glory.
Grant me to see thee, O King of peace,
Up in thy wonderful fairness,
And sing forever, on a sweet chord,
The glory of thy beauty.

O Lord, our Lord, how wondrous great
Is Thine exalted name!
The glories of Thy
heav'nly state
Let men and babes proclaim.
