Dy enw, Ior, sydd werthfawr im',
  "Yr Arglwydd ni'm newidir;"
Am hyny ni ddifethwyd ni,
  Am hyny ni'n difethir.

O'th dirion drugareddau di,
  Am danom ni, ni darfu;
A'n gobaith
    na ddarfyddwn mwy,
  Yw eu bod hwy heb ballu.

Thy name, Master, is precious to me,
  "I the Lord shall not be changed;"
Therefore we were not destroyed,
  Therefore we shall not to be destroyed.

From thy tender mercies,
  About us, they did not perish;
And our hope that
    we shall not perish evermore
  Is that they fail not.
