Duw yw fy iachawdwriaeth
 Pa achos ofni sydd?
Yn awr y brofedigaeth
  Fy ngrym a'm goleu fydd:
Pe codai llu i'm herbyn,
  Mi safwn yn ddi-fraw,
'D oes neb a all fy nhrechu,
  Tra byddo Duw gerllaw.

Fy enaid rho dy ymddiried
  Yn hollol yn yr Un
A all dy gynorthwyo
  Yn nydd y trallod blin;
Er cryfed dy elynion,
  Er lleied yw dy rym,
Dy Dduw sydd Hollalluog,
  Ni raid it'
      ofni dim.

God is my salvation
  What cause is there to fear?
In the hour of testing
  My strength and my light he shall be
If a host should rise against me,
  I would stand fearlessly,
No-one shall be able to overcome me
  While ever God is at hand.

My soul put thy trust
  Wholly in the One
Who can help thee
  In the day of grievous trouble;
Despite how strong thy enemies,
  Despite how small is thy strength,
Thy God is Almighty,
  There is no need for thee
      to fear anything.

God is my strong salvation;
  What foe have I to fear?
In darkness and temptation,
  My Light, my Help is near:
Though hosts encamp around me,
  Firm in the fight I stand;
What terror can confound me,
  With God at my right hand?

Place on the Lord reliance:
  My soul, with courage wait;
His truth be thine affiance,
  When faint and desolate:
His might thy heart shall strengthen,
  His love thy joy increase;
Mercy thy day shall lengthen;
  The Lord will give
      thee peace.
