Duw pan agorech di dy law

Duw, pan agorech di dy law,
  Oddi yno daw daioni;
Pob anifail, a phob rhyw beth,
  A ddaw yn ddifeth ini.

A phan ollyngech di dy râd,
  Fel rhoddi cread newydd;
Y modd hyn wyneb yr holl dir,
  A adnewyddir beunydd.

Yr Arglwydd gogoneddus fydd,
  Trwy fawr lawenydd bythoedd
Yr Arglwydd yn ddiau a fedd
  Orfoledd yn y nefoedd.

Canaf i'r Arglwydd yn fy myw,
  Canaf i'm Duw tra fyddwyf;
Ymlawenychaf yn fy Iôn,
  Bydd ffyddlon hyn a wnelwyf.

    Rhan I - Fy enaid mola'r Arglwydd byw

God, when thou openest thy hand,
  From there comes goodness;
Every animal, and every kind of thing,
  Shall come unfailingly to us.

And when thou dost drop thy favour,
  As giving a new creation;
Thus the face of the whole land
  Is to be renewed daily.

The Lord shall be glorious,
  Through great joy forever
The Lord doubtless shall possess
  Jubilation in the heavens.

I will sing to the Lord in my life,
  I will sing to my God while ever I am;
I will rejoice in my Master,
  Be faithful, this I shall do.

28 They gather what thy stores disperse,
     without their trouble to provide:
   Thou op'st thy hand, the universe,
     the craving worm, is all supplied.

30 Again thou send'st thy Spirit forth
     t' inspire the mass with vital seed;
   Nature's restored, and parent earth
     smiles on her new-created breed.

31 Thus through successive ages stands,
     firm fixed, thy providential care;
   Pleased with the work of thy own hands,
     thou dost the wastes of time repair.

33 In praising God, while he prolongs
     my breath, I will that breath employ;
34 And join devotion to my songs,
     sincere as is in him my joy.
