Duw buost in' o oes i oes
  Yn unig breswyl yn y byd;
O oes i oes ti'n unig yw
  Ein trigfa gref a'n cartref clyd.

Cyn llunio mynydd, maes, na môr,
  Cyn ffurfio seiliau
      daear lawr,
O dragwyddoldeb, ti wyt, Dduw,
  Wyt Dduw hyd dragwyddoldeb mawr.

God thou wast from age to age
  An only dwelling place in the world;
From age to age thou alone art
  Our strong dwelling place
      and our secure home.

Before fashioning mountain, field, or sea,
  Before forming the foundations
      of the earth below,
From eternity, thou art, God,
  Thou art God as long as a great eternity.

1 O Lord the Saviour and Defence
    of us thy chosen race,
  From age to age thou still hast been
    our sure
        abiding place.

2 Before thou brought'st
        the mountains forth,
    or th'earth and world didst frame,
  Thou always were the mighty God,
    and ever art the same.
