Defynned arnom nefol wlith,
  Dyhidled sanctaidd law:
Y ddaear gan gyfiawnder Duw
  Flodeuo ar bob llaw!

Boed yr anial dir dan y gwlith
  Fel gardd i Dduw Ei hun;
O gwêl ein tlodi, Ysbryd Glân,
  A chymer achos dyn!

Tynera'n holl galedwch ni,
  Adfywia'r aelod wan;
Pob meddwl euog todda'n llwyr,
  Dy hedd dod i ni'n rhan!

O gwyn ein byd! nid nos yw'r nos -
  Mae'n ddydd ar achos dyn!
Mae'r Gwir Oleuni'n llonni'r byd,
  Mae Duw a ninnau'n un.

May heavenly dew drop upon us,
  May sacred rain distil:
May the earth, by the righteousness of God,
  Flourish on every hand!

May the desert land be, by the dew,
  Like the garden for God himself;
O see our poverty, Holy Spirit,
  And take up the cause of man!

Tenderise all our hardness,
  Revive the weak member;
Every guilty thought melt completely,
  May thy peace come to us as a portion!

O blessed are we! night is not night -
  It is day upon the cause of man!
The True Light is cheering the world,
  God and we are as one.

Ye heavens, oh haste your dews to shed,
Ye clouds, rain gladness on our head,
  Thou earth, behold the time of grace,
  And blossom forth in righteousness!

O Life-dew of the Churches, come,
And bid this arid desert bloom!
  The sorrows of Thy people see,
  And take our human flesh on Thee.

Refresh the parch'd and drooping mind,
The broken limb in mercy bind,
  Us sinners from our guilt release,
  And fill us with Thy heavenly peace.

O wonder! night no more is night!
Comes then at last the long'd-for light?
  Ah yes, Thou shinest, O true Sun,
  In whom are God and man made one!
