Duw sydd imi'n Fugail hynod,
Ni chaf wybod eisiau dim;
Wele'i gariad a'i ddoethineb
Er buddioldeb a lles im.
Yn mhorfeydd ei ordinhadau,
Ac wrth ffrydiau dyroedd nef,
Yn hyfrydlon par i'm orwedd,
Mewn tangnefedd gydag Ef.
Ef a'm harwain yn ei lwybrau,
O'm crwydriadau fe a'm dwg;
Yn ei ffyrdd, er mwyn ei enw,
Fe a'm ceidw rhag pob drwg;
A phe rhodiwn ar hyd waelod
Glyn dan gysgod angau du,
Nid oes achos i mi ofni,
Caf oleuni fy Nuw cu.
Dan deyrnwialen ei frenhiniaeth,
Iachawdwriaeth fydd fy nghân;
Bugail imi fydd yn angau,
Trwy effeithia'r Ysbryd Glân:
Ger bron wyneb fy ngelynion,
Bwrdd danteithion wnaeth i me;
Ces oes hyfryd o fendithion,
A chysuron yn ddi-ri'.
Credu'r wyf na phall i'm brofi
'R un daioni gan fy Nuw,
Na'i drugaredd i'm cysuro,
Tra 'rwy'n rhodio
tir y byw.
Cyn pen hir yr wy'n gobeithio
Caf breswylio
llys y nef,
A chyd-dreulio tragwyddoldeb
Mewn cymundeb gydag Ef.

God is to me a notable Shepherd,
I shall get to know no need of anything;
See his love and his wisdom
For benefit and profit to me.
In the pastures of his ordinances,
And by streams of the waters of heaven,
Cheerfully he causes me to lie,
In tranquility with him.
He leads me in his paths,
From my wanderings he draws m;
In his ways, for his name's sake,
He will keep me from every evil;
And if I were to walk along the bottom
Of a vale under black death's shadow,
There is no cause for me to fear,
I shall get the light of my dear God.
Under the sceptre of his kingship,
Salvation shall be my song;
A Shepherd to me he shall be in death,
Through the effects of the Holy Spirit:
Before the face of my enemies,
A table of delicacies he made for me;
I got a delightful age of blessings,
And comforts without number.
I believe I shall not fail to experience
A single goodness from my God,
Or his mercy to comfort me,
While ever I am walking
the land of the living.
Before long, I am hoping,
I shall get to reside
in the court of heaven,
And spend an eternity
In community together with him.
