Daw tair o longau hardd eu llun

(Ar Fore Dydd Nadolig)
Daw tair o longau hardd eu llun,
://: A hwyliau gwynion i bob un,
       Ar fore dydd Nadolig.

Yr awydd ar bob un o'r tair
://: Yw Iesu, annwyl faban Mair,
       Ar fore dydd Nadolig.

Ac angel disglair wrth bob llyw
://: Sy'n canu cân i'r neb a glwy,
       Ar fore dydd Nadolig.

Y blaenaf un, ei garol yw -
://: "Gogoniant i'r Goruchaf Dduw!"
       Ar fore dydd Nadolig.

     "Tangnefedd" gân yr ail -
         a'r don
://: Lonydda lle y clywir hon,
       Ar fore dydd Nadolig.

     "Ewyllys da i ddynion" yw
://: Y gân gan drydydd
         angel Duw,
       Ar fore dydd Nadolig.

     Daw'r llongau a'u
         trysorau drud
://: I'w rhannu'n rhad i bawb
         drwy'r byd,
       Ar fore dydd Nadolig.

     Ond llawer un, ni wêl,
         ni chlyw -
://: Fe bery'n llwm
         heb drysor Duw,
       Ar fore dydd Nadolig.

Ond pe derbyniai pawb y rhodd,
://: Fe fyddai'r ddaear wrth ei bodd
       Ar fore dydd Nadolig.

Tôn [88(8)7]: Ar Fore Dydd Nadolig
    (alaw Seisnig / C Roberts)

(On the Morn of Christmas Day)
     Three beautiful-looking ships come,
://: With white sails every one,
On the morn of Christmas day.

The sign on every one of the three
://: Is Jesus, the beloved baby of Mary,
On the morn of Christmas day.

And a radiant angel at every wheel
://: Singing a song to anyone who hears,
On the morn of Christmas day.

The foremost one, his carol is -
://: "Glory to the Most High God!"
On the morn of Christmas day.

"Peace" the song of the second -
         and the wave
://: Stills where this is heard,
On the morn of Christmas day.

     "Good will to men" is
://: The song from the third
         angel of God,
On the morn of Christmas day.

     The ships come with their
         costly treasures
://: To be shared freely to everyone
         throughout the world,
On the morn of Christmas day.

But many a one, neither sees,
         nor hears -
://: He continues bleakly
         without the treasure of God,
On the morn of Christmas day.

But if everyone received the gift,
://: The earth would be delighted
On the morn of Christmas day.
tr. 2025 Richard B Gillion
(On Christmas Day in the Morning)
Three ships as radiant as the sun,
://: Are seen with white sails every one,
On Christmas day in the morning.

The sign on each one of the three,
://: Says "Jesus came for you and me",
On Christmas day in the morning.

An angel at each wheel so clear
://: Sang out for everyone to hear,
On Christmas day in the morning.

The first was heard as he drew nigh -
://: "All glory be to God Most High!"
On Christmas day in the morning.

"Peace" was the song the second sang,
://: Which stilled the waves
         where'er it rang,
On Christmas day in the morning.

"Goodwill to all on earth" we hear
://: The third rings out
         with joy so clear,
On Christmas day in the morning

     Such costly treasures
         still they bear
://: That all on earth
         may have their share,
On Christmas day in the morning.

     But many neither see
         nor hear,
://: And live without
         this heavenly cheer,
On Christmas day in the morning.

So let us sing all with one voice,
://: 'Til, hearing, all on earth rejoice,
On Christmas day in the morning.
tr. 2025 Richard B Gillion
