Cyduned Seion lān,
  Mewn cān bereiddia'i blas,
O fawl am drugareddau'r Iōn,
  Ei roddion ef a'i ras.

Ble gwelir cariad fel
  Ei ryfedd gariad ef?
Ble bu cyffelyb iddo erioed?
  Rhyfeddod nef y nef!

Fe'n carodd cyn ein bod,
  A'i briod Fab a roes,
Yn ōl amodau hen y llw,
  I farw ar y groes.

Gwnaeth Iesu gymod llawn,
  Dyoddefodd angeu loes:
Y clod didrai, y mawl dilyth,
  Fo byth am waed y groes.

Gwnaeth Iesu berffaith Iawn
  Brynhawn ar Galfarī:
Yn ei gyfiawnder pur di-lyth
  Mae noddfa byth i ni.

Anfeidrol ydyw gwerth
  A rhīn ei aberth mawr,
I achub rhyw aneirif lu,
  O deulu gwael y llawr.

Y rhai yn berffaith lān
  A beraidd gān i gyd,
I'r bendigedig unig Oen,
  Yn iach o boen y byd.

Let holy Zion unite,
  In a song sweet its taste,
Of praise for the Lord's mercy,
  His gifts and his grace.

Where is seen love like
  His wonderful love?
where was ever its equal?
  A wonder of the heaven of heaven!

He loved before we existed,
  And his fitting son he gave,
According to the old terms of the oath,
  To die on the cross.

Jesus made a full reconciliation,
  He suffered the anguish of death:
The endless fame, the unceasing praise,
   Be ever for the blood of the cross.

Jesus made perfect Satisfaction
  In the afternoon on Calvary:
In his pure unfailing righteousness
  There is an eternal refuge for us.

Immeasurable is his worth
  And the virtue of his great sacrifice,
To save that innumerable host,
  Of the wretched family of the earth.

Those perfectly clean
  And all with a sweet song,
To the blessed only Lamb,
  Healed from the sorrow of the world.
