Clywch lu'r nef yn seinio
  Dros y meusydd draw,
Yn cyhoeddi'r newydd
  Fod yr Haul gerllaw;
Clod yn y goruchaf,
  Caned nef a llawr

Heded ar adenydd

  Across yonder fields,
Publishing the news
  That the Sun is at hand;
