Clodforaf drefn cymod

(O! Ddyfder)
Clodforaf drefn y cymod,
  Mawrygaf ddwyfol glwy;
Er dyfned yw fy mhechod
  Mae dyfnder gras yn fwy;
Mae digon ar fy nghyfer,
  A llais fy enaid yw, -
O! ddyfnder ac ehangder
  Meddyliau hedd fy Nuw.

Pan fyddo tywyll niwloedd
  Yn cuddio Ei ystôr,
Ar gadarn Graig yr Oesoedd
  'Rwy'n clywd sŵn y môr;
Fe leinw wagle amser,
  A'r sŵn meysaf yw;
O! ddyfnder ac ehangder
  Anfeidrol Iawn fy Nuw.

Fendigaid drefn y Duwdod
  I'r euog fynd yn rhydd;
Rhyfeddod pob rhyfeddod
  I dragwyddoldeb fydd;
Mewn trallod a chyfyngder
  Mi ganaf yn fy myw,
O! ddynder ac ehangder
  Trugaredd fawr fy Nuw.

(O the depths!)
I will acclaim the planning of the covenant,
  I will magnify a mortal wound;
Despite how deep is my sin
  The depth of grace is more;
There is sufficient for my sake,
  And the voice of my soul is, -
O the depth and breadth
  Of the thouhts of the peace of my God!

When dark clouds are
  Covering His store,
On the firm Rock of the Ages
  I am hearing the sound of the sea
An empty time will fill,
  With the sweetest sound there is;
O the depth and breadth
  Of the immeasurable Atonement of my God!

The blessed planning of the Trinity
  For the guilty to go free;
The wonder of every wonder
  For an eternity shall be;
In trouble and straits
  I will sing for all I am worth,
O the depth and breadth
  Of the great mercy of my God!
