Caniadau'r llawr ddylifant byth

Caniadau'r llawr ddylifant byth,
  Yn afon lydan gref;
Er hyny nid yw'r canu ddim
  Yn ymyl canu'r nef,
  Yn ymyl canu'r nef.

Pe gwneid caniadau'r ddaear hon
  O'r dechreu byth yn un,
Ni fyddai cān y ddaear ddim
  Wrth gān y nef ei hun,
  Wrth gān y nef ei hun.

Bydd holl beroriaeth calon dyn,
  A phob creadur glān
Trwy'r holl fydysawd maith, yn un
  I chwyddo'r nefol gān,
  I chwyddo'r nefol gān.

Pan dery'r blaenor
    nodau'r gān,
  Ar unwaith tery'r llu,
Nes bydd ei sain yn llanw cylch
  Yr holl eangder fry,
  Yr holl eangder fry.

Fydd yno neb yn lleisio'n groes,
  Na neb yn ddistaw chwaith;
Am hyny bydd yr anthem fawr
  Yn unol ac yn faith,
  Yn unol ac yn faith.

O fyd i fyd melltena'r sain
  A'r geiriau yn gytun:
A'r adsain eilwaith ddaw yn ol
  I chwyddo'r gān ei hun,
  I chwyddo'r gān ei hun.

The songs of earth pour out forever,
  As a wide, strong river;
Nevertheless, the singing is nothing
  Beside the singing of heaven,
  Beside the singing of heaven.

If the songs of this earth were made
  From the beginning forever one,
The song of earth would be nothing
  To the song of heaven itself,
  To the song of heaven itself.

All the sweet music of man's heart,
  And every pure creature, shall be
Through all the vast universe, as one
  To swell the heavenly song,
  To swell the heavenly song.

When the leader strikes
    the notes of the song,
  At once shall the throng strike up,
Until the sound fills the circuit
  Of all the vastness above,
  Of all the vastness above.

No-one shall be there contradicting,
  Nor anyone silent either;
Therefore the anthem shall be great,
  United and vast,
  United and vast.

From world to world the sound shall flash
  With the words in agreement:
And the echo shall come back again
  To swell the song itself,
