  Cyd-uned lluoedd nef,
    A phob creadur byw,
  I foli 'i enw ef,
    Sydd gywir ddyn a Duw,
Emmaunuel, Duw gyd â ni,
Fy Nghre'wr a'm Gwaredwr i.

  Fe ymddangosodd Duw,
    Ein Ceidwad yn y cnawd;
  Anolrheinadwy yw
    Gostyngiad Crist ein Brawd!
Pob priodoledd ddwyfol gref,
Breswylia yn ei berson ef.

  Pob enw parchus gwiw,
    A ddyg angylion nef,
  Neu ro'ir gan ddynolryw,
    A berthyn iddo ef:
Ond gwael a bach yw'r goreu'n bod,
O ditlau gwych,
      i draethu'i glôd

  Fy Archoffeiriad mawr,
    Rho'es trosaf, einioes wiw;
Fy Mhrophwyd doeth yn awr,
    A'm dysg i ofni Duw:
A'm Brenin uchel iawn ei radd,
Fy holl elynion hyll a ladd.

  Fy Nghyfaill mwyn a'm Brawd,
    A ro'es i mi ryddhâd;
  Dioddefodd trosof wawd,
    Ac angau'r groes yn rhad:
Iachawdwr pechaduriaid gwael,
Rydd i mi hedd a chymmorth hael.

  Let the hosts of heaven unite,
    With every living creature,
  To praise his name,
    Who is true man and God,
Emmanuel, God with me,
My Creator and my Deliverer.

  God appeared,
    Our Saviour in the flesh;
  Untraceable is
    The humbling of Christ our Brother!
Every strong divine attribute
Dwells in his person.

  Every worthy, revered name,
    That the angels of heaven bear,
  Or are given by humankind,
    Belong to him:
But mean and small is the best that is,
Of the brilliant titles,
      to expound his acclaim.

  My great High Priest,
    Gave for me his worthy life;
  My wise Prophet now,
    Teaches me to fear God:
And my King of very high degree,
All my hideous enemies shall kill.

  My dear Friend and my Brother,
    Gave to me freedom;
  He suffered scorn for me,
    And the death of the cross freely:
The Saviour of poor sinners,
Gives to me peace and generous support.
