gorweddodd yr Arglwydd. Math. xxvii. 6.)
Chwi rhai gwan sy' tan alaru,
Yn ofidus dreulio'ch oes,
Nac ofnwch chwi sy'n ceisio'r Iesu
'R hwn fu farw ar y groes:
Weiniaid de'wch, Ymgryfhewch,
Gwledda ar ei gariad cewch.
De'wch a gwelwch lle gorweddodd
Crist yr Arglwydd Brenhin hedd;
Talodd ef yn llwyr eich dyled
Cyn ei roi mewn newydd fedd;
Israel Duw, mae e'n fyw,
'Mhlith y meirw, mwy nid yw.
'Does ond llieniau yn y beddrodd,
Napcyn fu oddeutu'i ben;
Y mae'n Harglwydd wedi gorfod,
'R hwn 'fu was sy 'nawr yn ben;
Mae'n ddifraw, gwelwch draw,
Bob awdurdod yn ei law.
De'wch ddisgyblion llesg ac ofnus,
De'wch ymlaen yn ddi-naccâd;
"Gwelwch," medd yr Oen cariadus,
"Gwelwch fy nwylaw am traed:
De'wch yn hy, teimlwch fi,
'R hwn fu farw ar Galfari."
"Tyred Tomas anghrediniol
Rho'th law yn ôl y wayw-ffon;
Dy fysedd dôd yn ôl yr hoelion,
Gwel yr archoll dan fy mron:
Nac ammeu'n hwy, gwel fy nghlwy
Na fyd anghredadwy mwy."
Ffryndiau'r Iesu, beth yw'r ofnau
Cyfarfod 'nawr a'r angau glâs;
Mae ei golyn wedi' dynnu,
A'i wenwyn wedi' sugno ma's:
T'wysog hedd, yr un wedd
A sancteiddiodd i ni'r bedd.
Dilyn 'rych yr Oen cariadus
Ei ganlyn cewch trwy
angau a'r bedd;
Yna cewch drag'wyddol orphwys,
Gyd ag ef mewn newydd wedd:
Trigfannau sy', yn barod fry'
Ar fyrder i'ch croesawu chwi.

the Lord lay. Matt. 27:6.)
Ye weak ones who are under mourning,
Grieving spending your life,
Fear not, ye who are seeking Jesus,
Him who died on the cross:
Ye weak ones come, be strengthened,
To feast on his love ye shall get.
Come and see where lay
Christ the Lord and King of peace;
He paid in full your debt
Before being put in a new grave;
Israel of God, he is alive,
Amongst the dead he is no more.
There are only sheets in the tomb,
A napkin that was around his head;
The Lord has overcome,
He who was a servant is now Head
He is fearless, see yonder,
All authority is in his hand.
Come ye disciples feeble and fearful,
Come along without refusing;
"See ye," says the loving Lamb,
"See my hands nad my feet:
Come boldly, feel me,
Him who died on Calvary."
"Come thou, unbelieving Thomas,
Put thy hand in the mark of the spear;
Thy fingers put in the mark of the nails,
See the wound under my breast:
Doubt no longer, see my wound
Do not be unbelieving any more."
Friends of Jesus, what are the fears
Of meeting now with utter death;
Its sting has been taken away,
And its poison sucked out:
The Prince of peace, in the same way
Has sanctified for us the grave.
Ye follow the loving Lamb
Ye make follow him through
death and the grave;
Then ye shall have eternal rest,
Together with him in a new image:
There are dwellings, ready above
Quickly to welcome you.
