Cais y colledig,
Cod y syrthiedig,
Cipiau'r truenus
rhag pechod a gwae;
Wyled dy galon,
Dros yr annuwiol,
Dwed am yr Iesu
sydd gryf i iachau:
Cais y colledig,
Cod y syrthiedig;
Iesu trugarog
sydd gryf i iachau.
Os ynt yn gwrthod
Iesu a'r cymod,
Disgwyl mae'r Ceidwad
a'i freichiau ar led;
Cais hwy o ddifrif,
Na ro i fyny,
Duw sydd yn cadw
pwy bynag a gred.
Yn y dyfnderoedd
Gorwedd galluoedd,
Teimlad a nerth, ond gall
Duw eu bywhau;
Gras sy'n adferyd
Eto i fywyd
Enaid oedd farw
mewn camwedd a bai.
Taer fyddo'th weddi,
Dwys fyddo'th gyngor,
Dwys a difrifol
bob awr fyddo'th oes;
Enill trwy gariad,
Dena yn dyner,
Tyn bechaduriaid
at Iesu a'i groes.
Cais y colledig,
Dyled sydd arnat,
Ceir gan yr Arglwydd
bob gallu yn rhad;
Deffro'r diofal,
Galw'r afradlon,
Dwed i'r crwydedig
am Iesu a'i waed.

Tôn: Cais y colledig / Rescue the perishing |
Seek the lost,
Raise the fallen,
Snatch the wretch
from sin and woe;
Let thy heart weep,
For the ungodly,
Tell about Jesus
who is strong to save:
Seek the lost,
Raise the fallen;
Merciful Jesus
is strong to save.
If they go rejecting
Jesus will reconcile,
Watching is the Saviour
with his arms open wide;
Seek them seriously,
Do not give up,
God is saving
whoever believes.
In the depths
Lie powers,
Feeling and strength, but God
can enliven them;
Grace is reviving
Again to life
A soul which was dead
in trespass and sin.
Earnest be thy prayer,
Intense be thy counsel,
Intense and serious
every hour be thy lifespan;
Will through love,
Attract tenderly,
Draw sinners
to Jesus and his cross.
Seek the lost,
A duty is upon thee,
To be got from the Lord is
every ability freely;
Awaken the lazy,
Call the prodigal,
Tell the wanderer
about Jesus and his blood.

Rescue the perishing,
Care for the dying,
Snatch them in pity
from sin and the grave;
Weep o'er the erring one,
Lift up the fallen,
Tell them of Jesus,
the mighty to save.
Rescue the perishing,
Care for the dying,
Jesus is merciful,
Jesus will save.
Though they are slighting Him,
Still He is waiting,
Waiting the penitent
child to receive;
Plead with them earnestly,
Plead with them gently;
He will forgive
if they only believe.
Down in the human heart,
Crushed by the tempter,
Feelings lie buried
that grace can restore;
Touched by a loving heart,
Wakened by kindness,
Chords that were broken
will vibrate once more.
Rescue the perishing,
Duty demands it;
Strength for thy labour
the Lord will provide;
Back to the narrow way
Patiently win them;
Tell the poor wand'rer
a Saviour has died.
