Byth byth y pery'r Arglwydd Iôr

Byth, byth y pery'r Arglwydd Iôr,
  A'i orsedd parod yw
I farnu'r byd wrth gyfiawn far,
  A chospi'r anwar ryw.

I uffern drist y troir y rhai
  Trwy fai sy'n digio'r Ne';
A phawb ollyngant Dduw dros go',
  Bydd yno byth eu lle.

Ac nid anghofir byth
      mo'r tlawd,
  Fe'i ceir ddydd brawdyn llon;
Nid ofer fydd y gobaith gwan
  A feithrin dan ei fron.

O cyfod, Iôr, ac arswyd gỳr
  Ar weithwyr pechod cas;
Dysg hwynt i grynu rhag dy lid,
  Mewn byd lle rhoir dy ras.

gwelir:
  Rhan I - A'm calon oll dyrchafaf gân

Forever and ever shall the Lord endure,
  And his throne is ready
To judge the world at his righteous bar,
  And to punish the savage sort.

To sad hell those are to be turned
  Through a fault which angers the Master;
And all that lost God from memory,
  There will be forever their place.

And not to be forgotten ever
    is the poor one,
  He will get a cheerful day of judgement;
Not in vain will be the weak hope
  which he nurtures under his breast.

O arise, Sovereign, and drive horror
  On the workers of detestable sin;
Teach them to tremble from thy wrath,
  In a world where thy grace is to be given.

7, 8 The Lord for ever lives, who has
    his righteous throne prepar'd,
  Impartial justice to dispense,
    to punish or reward.

17 No single sinner shall escape
     by privacy obscur'd;
   Nor nation, from his just revenge
     by numbers be secur'd.

18 His suff'ring faints,
       when most distressed,
     he ne'er forgets to aid;
   Their expectation shall be crown'd,
     tho' for a time delay'd.

19 Arise, O Lord, assert thy pow'r,
     and let not man o'ercome;
   Descend to judgment, and pronounce
     the guilty heathen's doom.

20 Strike terror thro' the nations round,
     till, by consenting fear
   They to each other, and themselves,
     but mortal men appear.
