Awn ar ol yr Iesu glân

Awn ar ol yr Iesu glân,
  Ein Harweinydd,
Na foed byth i ddŵr na thân
  Rwystro'n cynydd,
Er fod byddin gadarn, gref,
  Yn ein herbyn,
Cawn alluoedd cryfach nef
  I'n hamddiffyn.

Pan wna nos gorthrymder llawn,
  Ini ofni,
Colofn dân o'r nef a gawn
  I'n gwroli;
Cawn ar daith
    yr anial dir,
  Nefol fanna,
A chyrhaeddwn cyn bo hir
  I'r orphwysfa.

Let us go after holy Jesus,
  Our Leader,
Let neither water nor fire ever
  Obstruct our increase,
Although a firm, strong army be
  Against us,
We have the stronger powers of heaven
  To defend us.

When the night of full oppression
  Makes us fear,
A pillar of fire from heaven we shall have
  To make us brave;
We shall have on the journey
    of the desert land
  Heavenly manna,
And we shall arrive before long
  At the resting place.
