Arglwydd paid â gadael imi
  Ymfoddloni heb y gwir;
Lamp heb olew a ddifodda
  Yn y treial mawr cyn hir:
    Rho im' olew
  Yn fy llestr gyda'm lamp.

Ond cael hynny, byddaf barod
  Yna i ddyfod atat Ti
I gael gwledd, a llawenychu
  Gyda theulu'r nefoedd fry:
    O am ddyfod
  Yna i mewn cyn cau y drws!

Lord, do not let me
  Be satisfied without the truth;
A lamp without oil shall go out
  In the great trials before long:
    Give me oil
  In my vessel with my lamp.

Only to get this, I shall be ready
  Then to come to thee
To get a feast, and rejoice
  With the family of heaven above:
    O to come
  Then inside before the door closes!
