Ar lêd, O Dduw,
    dros wyneb llawr,
  Aeth d'enw mawr a'th glod;
Cyhoedded gwŷr a phlant un wedd
  Dy fawredd īs y rhod.

Dy Fab trag'wyddol wnaethost ti, -
  Mewn parch a bri boed ef! -
Yn īs nā'i engyl glān ei hun,
  I godi dyn i'r nef.

Ac wedi godde'r groes yn fwyn,
  A dwyn ein cosp i gyd,
Yn goron lān
    rhoist arno'n llon
  Ogoniant nefol fyd.

Ar waith dy ddwylaw yn y nef
  Y gwnaethost ef yn ben;
Gosodaist bob peth
    dan ei dra'd,
  Ym mhob rhyw wlad īs nen.

Ar lêd, O Dduw,
    dros wyneb llawr,
  Aeth d'enw mwr a'th glod;
Cyhoedded gwŷr a phlant un wedd
  Dy fawredd īs y rhod.

Widely, O God,
    across the face of the earth,
  Has gone thy great name and thy praise;
By men and children alike let thy greatness
  Be published under the sky.

Thy eternal Son thou hast made, -
  In reverence and esteem may he be! -
Lower than the holy angels himself,
  To raise man to heaven.

And after suffering the cross nobly,
  And bearing all our punishment,
As a holy crown
    thou didst put upon him cheerfully
  The glory of a heavenly world.

Over the work of thy two hands in heaven
  Thou hast made him head;
Thou hast placed every thing
    under his feet,
  In every kind of country under the sky.

Widely, O God, across
    the face of the earth,
  Has gone thy great name and thy praise;
By men and children alike let thy greatness
  Be published under the sky.
