I'r Enfys

Bwa'r nen laslen lwysliw, -
      llon addurn,
    Llunieddwaith symudliw;
  Mawr olwg, im mae'r eiliw
  O waith llaw Iôn yn wyth lliw.

Sidell nef a osodwyd -
      fal cameg
    Ar fol cwmwl dyfrllyd;
  Arwydd lon a hardd
        luniwyd
  I luddio barn
        ladd y byd.

The bow of the colourful blue cover, -
      a cheery adornment,
    A colour-shifting fashioning;
  A great sight, to me is the image
  Of the Lord's handiwork in eight colours.

The orbit of heaven that was fixed -
      like an arch
    On the belly of a watery cloud;
  A cheerful and beautiful sign
        that was designed
  To restrain the judgment
        that would kill the world.
